I love Cal. Aside from school pride, there are three things on my mind that make me really really love it: Intervaristy, Cal Triathlon, and the bathrooms at Welman Hall.

+ I've joined a christian bible study called Intervarsity at Cal and during our community small group time on Tuesday, everyone swiped 2 to-go boxes. One for themselves and one for someone who was hungry on the streets. To be honest, the group I was with wasn't completely ideal, as it was a group of three that consisted of me and Sarah, two really small girls, and Jeremy, who was this big guy on the outside, but admitted that  he was a little scared about this expedition we were about to take.

I used to never feel sorry for the homeless because i would always think "this is america, if you wanted a job, if you wanted to get off the streets, you could do it. it just takes work" and i still stand by that in some respects, but my encounter with corey and justin made me realize that it wasn't entirely their fault that they ended up on the streets. Any of us could have had the broken family and been raised in a bad neighborhood.

I always say that in order for this world to step forward, people need to stop in the middle of their crazy lives, turn around, and help people who are struggling. So from this day, that is my personal goal in life. That's what i want to do.

+ Cal Triathlon. These people are so motivated to do something, it's infectious, and i love it.

+ Today I peed in the oldest toilet ever. Upon walking into the bathroom, there were chairs (for people to sit and wait for a stall?), a water fountain, ollllllld sinks, and stalls that had a little box for you to put your purse in rather than just a hook. SO COOL. love it.

Today all of the newly pledged sorority girls wore their house shirts to their classes today. It was cute. The whole pride, the shirt designs decorated with pink and flowers, the smiling faces. Seriously, it was cool. However, there was this one shirt that had pretty flashy colors and bold letters for delta gamma that had a slogan that was trying to imitate the "Oh hot damn, this is my jam" song.  But it became a fail because they spelled damn incorrectly: "Hot dam delta gam" (maybe to match the spelling of dam with gam?) which really just makes readers think of a hot dam (like the hoover dam) followed by their sorority.

Fail.

Go Bears.

Homecoming football game with the pacman interruption basically completed my Senior year along with the actual dance as well as the RB Homecoming.

I got on TV for my yellow converses at the alarm clock pep rally.

I've ran a race or been in a triathlon for every weekend my parents were out of town.

Coaching the little kid swim team is so much fun.

Getting free Robex is bomb dizzle.

I'm in love
with life as it is. I couldn't ask for anything more.
